Kerrie and Amy are a family run professional hairstylist and makeup artist team who specialise in bridal and special occasion hair and makeup. Both Kerrie and Amy have a lot of experience in all different areas of the hair and makeup industry, but over the last 10 years they have been specialising in bridal hair and makeup. Kerrie and Amy are cousins and decided to team up together to offer their specialised services after getting a lot of bookings for large bridal parties, they are both very passionate, creative and hardworking. With both of them having carefully selected professional kits that can cater for all members of the bridal party no matter what their hair or skin type is.
Based in Warwickshire, both Kerrie and Amy can travel locally and throughout Coventry, Stratford and surrounding areas. They can also cater for clients throughout the UK and are available to travel internationally for any wedding bookings.
Kerrie Calder is a mum of 2 who lives in Leamington Spa, she has years of experience in the industry as she has been cutting hair since she was a teenager, she went on to complete her NVQ level 2 and 3 in hairdressing and has been working mobile and in salons over the last 10 years. As well as women’s hairdressing Kerrie also does a lot of special occasion hair up and is also qualified in Micro Bond hair extensions. Kerrie is very passionate about her business and continues to work hard for her family and to build her range of skills, with her next venture being men’s barbering. Kerrie has a lot of experience working with lots of clients with all different types of hair, so no matter what hair you have, she can work with each client to create the perfect bridal hair style.
Amy Murray lives in Leamington spa, but works in Birmingham as a Technician and Lecturer for the Specialist Hair & Media Makeup Course at University College Birmingham. Amy has completed her NVQ Level 2 and 3 in hairdressing, however she has always had a real passion for makeup. So she went on to receive a Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical and Media Makeup and then in 2016 she graduated with a 2:1 BA Honors degree in Specialist Hair and Media Makeup. Over the last 10 years Amy has continued to build up her makeup and hair skills working in many different areas of the industry, including working on fashion shows, fashion photo shoots and theatre productions. Whilst working as a makeup technician and lecturer, Amy continues to do a lot of bridal and special occasion hair and makeup, with her extensive knowledge and experience helping to make sure every client is catered for.
